At MWC Barcelona 2026, Raytron Microelectronics unveiled three new infrared thermal imaging modules — WN2T, DVS256, and ECOT — further expanding the application of infrared sensing technology across consumer electronics, smart devices and industrial inspection.
Under the theme “See Heat. Anywhere.”, Raytron Microelectronics highlights the value of thermal imaging across scenarios including outdoor night vision, search and rescue, smart city, industrial inspection and intelligent manufacturing.

Seeing Thermal Temperature in Real Time
The WN2T temperature measurement thermal imaging module, a temperature version of the WN2 series, offers multiple resolution options from 256×192 to 640×512. It integrates Raytron Microelectronics 12 μm WLP-packaged high-frame-rate infrared detector with the self-developed infrared ISP (second generation), delivering stable and clear thermal imaging performance while maintaining advantages in compact size, lightweight design and low power consumption.
Compared with WN2 imaging thermal module, the WN2T introduces a real-time temperature display function, enabling temperature data to be shown directly within thermal images. This capability makes it particularly suitable for industrial inspection, solar panel inspection, equipment monitoring and commercial drone applications.

DVS256: Dual-Image Fusion for Consumer Devices
Designed for the consumer market, the DVS256 infrared thermal module features a 256 × 192 resolution and supports infrared and visible light dual-image fusion. It is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, enabling richer information display and more flexible device integration.
The module offers 25 Hz high-frame-rate imaging, full-array temperature data output, ensuring smooth thermal performance while minimizing power consumption and simplifying development. These capabilities make it ideal for handheld thermal imaging devices and smartphone plug-in accessories.

Compact & Smart Thermal Imaging for Consumer Devices
The ECOT series is a 160×120 LWIR uncooled thermal imaging module. With its compact size (10.5 mm × 10.5 mm × 5.8 mm), lightweight design, low power consumption and easy integration, ECOT brings thermal imaging and temperature sensing capabilities to a wide range of smart devices, including smartphones, temperature measurement instruments, smart home appliances and other consumer electronics.
ECOT adopts a platform-based ISP architecture, with image processing implemented on the host platform. Raytron Microelectronics provides system-level support, including imaging, calibration and temperature measurement functions, helping OEM customers quickly integrate thermal capabilities into their devices and simplify development.
The launch of these three new products further highlights Raytron Microelectronics’ continuous innovation in high-performance, miniaturized infrared thermal imaging technologies, while accelerating the expansion of thermal sensing from traditional industrial and professional applications into a wider ecosystem of smart devices and consumer electronics.
